About Elaine Lim Orthodontist

Dr Elaine Lim [Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Master of Dental Science (Orthodontics)] is a Registered Specialist Orthodontist, conducting her specialist training at The University of Sydney. She is regarded as a progressive leader in her profession.
Dr Elaine Lim is the Daughter of Professor Yoland Lim, world leader acupuncturist and renowned herbal medicine consultant. She therefore carries the family tradition of a holistic healthcare approach. She has applied this philosophy to orthodontics by promoting preventive and interceptive concepts of care to minimise increasing complexity of malocclusions and promotes gentle, non-invasive options whenever possible.
In addition, Dr Elaine Lim has published research in international journals and has also given conference presentations to the orthodontic community both interstate and overseas.

Dr Elaine Lim has been involved in teaching dental and post-graduate orthodontic students. In addition, she has appeared in newspapers and was the guest Dental Health Professional on Triple M Melbourne Radio.

Dr Elaine Lim is a member of the Australian Dental Association, Australian Society of Orthodontists and has been Australian Orthodontic Board Certified. She served for many years on the Australian Dental Association Board for Continuing Professional Development Education both for the Vicotrian Branch and Federal Associations.
